The College of Engineering offers a secure connection method to our network using the Pulse Secure VPN (Virtual Private Network) client.
This service requires you to have an active OSU ID and password, as well as your BuckeyeSecure 2-Factor-Authentication set up, please make sure you have them configured prior to connecting.

To install the new client after downloading the installer, run the following commands:

  • Ubuntu: "apt install ./ps-pulse-linux-64bit.deb" in the downloaded folder location.
  • Fedora/RHEL/CentOS: "yum install ./ps-pulse-linux-64bit.rpm" in the downloaded folder location.
  • RHEL7: "yum install ./ps-pulse-linux-rhel7.rpm" in the downloaded folder location.

Launch by searching for "pulse" in your GUI launcher environment.
